For this Museum exhibit, Custom Creation was asked to design and fabricate elements for the Harry Ransom Center’s ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ Exhibit. This exhibit highlights how Alice and her story have been translated through the years and across continents.
Our portion of this project consisted of designing, fabricating and installing a 13-ft wide x 12-ft tall Graphic Wall as well as a Rabbit Hole Entrance. The wall graphic depicting Alice and flying cards, were printed on adhesive backed vinyl with light-steel armature used to support 30 direct-print playing cards on PVC plastic of differing sizes. The Rabbit Hole Entrance consisted of four decorative wall panels. The first panel featuring faux decorative plants, grass and dirt with the White Rabbit Character printed onto a rigid substrate.
This exhibit runs through July 6, 2015. For more information about this exhibit visit the Harry Ransom Center at http://www.hrc.utexas.edu/exhbitions/2015/alice/
